Libya's Sirte Oil Company (SOC) has re-started production at its methanol plant following a shutdown of 19 months.
Mohammed Tayeb Makora, coordinator of the plant, said the first shipment of pure methanol was shipped despite the difficulties of labour shortages and lack of spare parts.
