Libya invited companies to bid for contracts to upgrade plants operated by the General Co. for Chemical Industries, a state-owned producer of salt and chlorine-related plastics.
Potential bidders have until Feb. 29 to submit offers to upgrade and expand capacity at production lines of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride operated by the company in Abu Kammash, a coastal town west of Tripoli, according to an advertisement published today by the Ministry of Industry in the Tripoli Post.
