Minister of Culture Salah Jarrar on Thursday met with Secretary General of the Libyan Ministry of Culture and Information Awatif Tashani and discussed bilateral cooperation, especially in cultural fields.
The minister underlined the importance of promoting cultural ties between the two countries.
The Libyan official praised Jordan's support of Libya, stressing keenness to promote relations with Jordan.
She also expressed desire to benefit from Jordan's expertise in cultural and media fields.
The two sides agreed to organize cultural activities in Jordan and Libya, open cultural centers in both countries and sign cooperation agreement in various cultural areas.
