Mediterranean Maritime Services, a newly registered company formed between VPJ Limited and Kucuk Shipping Limited, has launched a cargo service operating a weekly roll on-roll off cargo vessel connecting Augusta to Valletta and to Tripoli and Misurata.

The route will be serviced by the Fehim Bey, which is based at the Valletta Gateway Terminal. The service is operating twice weekly Malta-Sicily-Malta and once-a-week Malta-Libya.

The scheduled service departs Malta for Augusta on Monday and Wednesday evenings; Augusta for Malta on Tuesday and Thursday evenings; Malta for Libya on Friday evening; and Libya for Malta on Sunday evening.

The Fehim Bey has a capacity of 105 TEUS/400 linear meters. The vessel will be operating from the Valletta Gateway Terminal and will be calling at the ITSA Terminal in Augusta.

Arrangements have been made for the vessel to call at dedicated berths at the Tripoli and Misurata ports to ensure a quick turnaround.
