At a meeting in Tripoli, Libya's Ministers' council gave the go-ahead to the Ministry of Transportation (Aviation authority) to sign a contract worth 3 million Euros with the Spanish Stream global company for the importation of five fire engines to be used at Libyan airports.
According to the report from Tripoli Post, the Minister of Transportation indicated the severe need for the development of the civil aviation authority considering the poor technical, operational and logistic conditions it faces and which led to the disturbance of aviation, airports and air navigation services from providing much needed services.
