Dubai-based Emirates Airlines is to resume flights to Libya in October, having suspended them for almost 18 months following the outbreak of civil unrest in the country.
Reuters reports that the airline will operate four flights a week from Dubai to Tripoli starting on October 29, using an Airbus A330-200, such as the one pictured.
Although security concerns have not entirely disappeared, international airlines have been gradually resuming services to Libya since late 2011.
