The Times of Malta reports that the "Libyan Great Al Fateh 1969 Births Association" (sic) has requested the courts in Malta to issue a warrant of seizure against a Maltese company.
The Association claims that B H International Ltd. failed to abide by a 2008 contract for the purchase and delivery of 16,000 cars worth some €66.3 million from a Chinese manufacturer.
Only 5,250 of the cars were reportely delivered , and their engine specifications and wheel size were not as ordered. No other deliveries were made.
The association is also claiming that company officials went to China and obtained a false letter stating that the cars were the ones which were ordered.
