Pakistani companies and workers are gearing up to return to Libya, according to a report from Libya Herald.
Major construction companies from Pakistan have reportedly secured reconstruction contracts in the country, and these firms have put out a request via Pakistan’s Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (Unisame) for subcontractors to work with them.
Unisame President Zulfikar Thaver has urged small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan to take advantage of the business opportunities Libya currently offers.
Opportunities will be mainly in the areas of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering but subcontractors will be needed in many areas of the construction industry.
