Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) said on Wednesday that it has brought a fire at the Amal field in the eastern Sirte basin under control.
Rigzone reports that the fire at the 35,000 bpd field broke out on Tuesday, and that crude output is still halted.
The blaze, which injured four people, was caused by a natural-gas leak and was extinguished after 45 minutes.
The oilfield is operated by Harouge Oil Operations, a joint venture between NOC and Suncor Energy Inc.'s PetroCanada.
