Libyan Airlines resumed flights between Tripoli and Manchester on Tuesday.
Libya Herald reports that the flight, with 132 passengers aboard, was scheduled to arrive at 11.30 but landed at 14.10. It departed again for Tripoli at 15.52 hrs.
There will be three flights a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays; the Manchester area is said to be home to the largest Libyan diaspora in the UK.
The company is using an Airbus A320, reportedly wetleased from Tunisian private airline Nouvelair.
