The deputy manager of ZTE in Libya, Malik Shaaban, has told the Chinese news agency Xinhua that the company is committed to helping the Libyan communications sector.
ZTE, the first Chinese communications company in Libya, is now competing with five foreign companies operating in Libya and racing to win the contract to provide the 4G and HSPA4 technology for Libyan mobile networks.
Mr. Shaban stated that Libya needs companies specialized in developing the communications sector more than ever, and the company’s chances are good.
