Libya’s General Electricity Company (GECOL) has signed a contract with the French-based Alstom for a massive overhaul of Libyan gas units.
The deal, valued at 395 million Libyan dinars ($316 million), will see Alstom provide Libya with equipment and spare parts for the overhaul and development of its gas units.
The contract will be completed within 24 months.
