The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), the state-owned company responsible for the production and distribution of electrical power, has signed a contract with the German company Siemens to supply and install spare parts at the Ruwais (Ruways) power station.
The Information Office of GECOL said that the deal, which involves four gas-powered units, was worth 94 million Libyan dinars ($75 million).
