Wintershall Libya invites interested and reputable contractors (IADC Members) with a suitable drill rig and relevant experience to apply for pre-qualification for consideration to tender for the provision of a Drill Rig for oil / gas and water injection wells within Wintershall’s onshore assets at C96 / C97 for the period of two years, starting around June 2013.
Brief description of work scope and specifications
Contractor should be able to provide certified equipment and quality services (experienced and qualified personnel, logistics, base, workshop and storage facilities in Sirte Basin area) for Drilling Rig services in an onshore environment. Locations concerned are as follows: Concessions 96 and 97 operated by Wintershall Libya. Contractor having the base closer to vicinity of these concessions will be given priority during Tender evaluation.
Wells specification:
- Oil producers, Water injector wells
- Reservoir depth up to 15,000 ft MD; Temperature range up to 280 F.
- MEWHP < 5,000 psi
- Vertical / S-shape / horizontal deviated wells.
- C02: possible low concentrations
- H2S: possible low concentration
