The leader of Tripoli local council, Sadat Elbadri, said Palestinian businesses should contribute to Libya’s growth and invest in the country, reports Libya Herald.
Similarly, the Palestinian Ambassador in Tripoli, Al-Mutawakel Taha, wants Libyan businessmen and women to visit Palestine and support economic cooperation between the two countries.
The calls were made at first Palestine Libya Economic Forum in Tripoli which was held to coincide with a three-day visit by a Palestinian trade delegation.
The Libyan business community has shown significant interest in the event, which was attented by the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, as well as the heads of a number of Libyan business groups.
