A meeting was held between members of a trade mission from the British Energy Industries Council (EIC), headed by Mr. Terry Willis, and Libya oil interests including Mr. Abul Qasim Shanger, a member of the management committee of National Oil Corporation (NOC).
In his speech Mr. Shanger welcomed all attendees, and stressed that there are significant business and investment opportunities for British companies in Libya.
The Energy Industries Council includes a large number of companies specialising in the field of oil and gas, petrochemical, energy generation, transmission and distribution, and nuclear industries, renewable energy, natural gas (LNG), and pipelines.
