Reuters reports that Germany's Lufthansa and its subsidiary Austrian Airlines have halted flights to Tripoli due to security concerns.
"We have taken the decision given the developments in Tripoli and the tense situation in the region," the Lufthansa spokeswoman said.
Lufthansa normally operates three flights a week to Tripoli, with Austrian Airlines flying twice a week.
Last month, Air Malta cancelled flights to Benghazi after Britain issued a travel warning, but it resumed operations four days later.
