German airline Lufthansa has re-introduced daily flights between Tripoli and Frankfurt. For the past month, the airline has been operating just three flights a week, on Sunday, Monday and Thursday.
The company, along with its subsidiary Austrian Airlines, suspended flights to Tripoli on 5th February due to security concerns. An attempt to restart a limited service was delayed due to a temporary ban by the Libyan authorities.
Lufthansa flights between Tripoli and Frankfurt are operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class cabin configuration, featuring Lufthansa’s Business and Economy class.
Austrian Airlines are now flying five times a week between Tripoli and Vienna.
