Dubai-based Dana Steel, a division of Dana Group, has resumed operations in Libya.
Products mainly supplied to Libyan market include steel coils, cold rolled steel coils, hot rolled steel coils, galvanized and pre-painted coils, profiled sheets and profiles, roll-formed products, stainless steel utensils and water heaters.
This is in addition to its strong FMCG division handling exports of frozen chicken and meat products, biscuits, carbonated drinks and canned fruits to the Libyan market.

The Dana Steel factory in Misurata is scaling up its current production capacity. Facilities available include fully automatic steel coil service machine, fully automatic cut-to-length coil machine, high precision coil slitting line, roll forming machines for channels, purlins, profiles, roofing sheets and sandwich panels.
