A British uniform manufacturer has completed a £250,000 contract to make the workwear for a private Libyan airline.
The Ilkeston Advertiser reports that the eight staff at Armstrong Aviation Clothing pulled extra shifts to make sure the order was complete.
Managing director Neil Wright declined to name the airline, but told the newspaper that as a result of the order the same airline has now been in touch about another batch of uniforms with negotiations currently ongoing.
“Although the order isn’t as big we’re really pleased that the same airline has come back to us."
