Libya is reported to be one of several Middle Eastern countries that plan to purchase CH-47 Chinook helicopters in coming years.
Defense World reports that the country is considering the purchase of six CH-47D models and 16 CH-47F models from US company Boeing.
Other countries said to be interested include Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
