Prime Minister Ali Zeidan [Zidan] arrived in Malta on Monday on an official visit.
He joins Transport Minister Abdulgadur Mohamed [Abd al-Qader Mohammed Ahmed], Oil and Gas Minister Dr. Abdulbari Alarusi [Al Arusi], and Economy Minister Mustafa M. Abofamas [Mustafa Abu Vas, Mustafa Abu Fanas], who arrived on Sunday.
MaltaToday reports that talks will focus mainly on oil supplies from Libya.
When Zeidan met his Maltese counterpart, Joseph Muscat, in Tripoli in June, he said that Libya intends to provide Malta with oil and hydrocarbon products, but that the details still had to be worked out before an agreement could be made; Libya Herald at the time said that this implied is that Libya will provide Malta with guaranteed supplies at fixed prices.
