A meeting was held on Tuesday between the National Oil Company (NOC) and representatives of some British companies specialisig in oil and gas.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of oil and gas, the Chairman and members of management committees of NOC, number of heads of oil companies, and a number of general managers and specialists from NOC and the ministry.
The Chairman of NOC in his speech explained that the sector is currently preparing several plans and programs for various activities, the most important topics that NOC handling is the continuity of production, maintenance projects and to protect the environment, also declared that the NOC intends to achieve many projects and strategic programs which will raise levels of reserves and production and aims to expand oil industry.
The head of the delegation assured the NOC that the British companies are keen to provide assistance and support to the oil sector companies.
