The Maltese Health Minister, Dr. Godfrey Farrugia, has held a meeting with Dr. Mohamed Asiad Arrezaghi, Director for Primary Care Services in Libya, durng which primary care, immunisation, physiotherapy and public health were identified as priority areas for the Libyan Government.
Durig the meeting the Libyas side sought technical assistance and training from Malta, and Minister Farrugia said his government was willing to support Libya in its efforts to develop its healthcare capacity.
According to the report from Malta Today, both sides agreed to follow up in-depth technical meetings.
