North African students are being invited to apply for scholarships to study in Europe under the Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II Programme. The programme is open to nationals from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia, with scholarships for undergraduate, master and doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows as well as academic and administrative staff wishing to join credit transfer or full degree programmes or to perform short stays for research, teaching, training or other cooperation activities.

The first call under the programme opened on 15 November 2013 and will close on 20 January 2014.

The scholarship covers a tuition fee waiver, a monthly allowance, travel and health insurance and expenses for one economy class round trip.

Applications are possible in any field of study. However, specific thematic areas will be given priority in the selection process. Administrative staff mobility is also considered a priority for the Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II partnership.

Interested candidates must fill in the online application available on the Al Idrisi II website http://www.al-idrisi.eu. A list of available courses and programmes and more can be found on the website.

Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II is a regional project, which organizes and manages scholarships financed by the European Union for nationals from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia wishing to study in Europe. This scholarship scheme has been established to support exchange and cooperation between Europe and North Africa.
