British Airways is increasing its schedule to Libya, adding a fifth weekly flight from Heathrow to Tripoli from the end of February 2014.
The new service is on sale immediately and begins operating on 26 February. It departs Heathrow at 09:20 on Wednesday mornings arriving in Tripoli at 14:50. The return flight leaves the Libyan capital at 15:50 arriving in London at 17:40.
The airline reinstated flights to Libya on 1 May 2012 when it began operating three times a week. In September it started a fourth service and, now, just six months later, will add the fifth flight.
Sarah Cain, British Airways’ commercial manager for North Africa, says that the additional service will offer customers more convenience and flexibility.
“The flights are scheduled on popular travel days for business customers and arrive and depart at reasonable times, so they are able to make onward connections.”
