The National Oil Corporation (NOC), along with the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG, POGC) as Operator, has reported initial information concerning the exploration (New Field Wildcat) well B1-113/01 drilled in contract area 113/1 in Murzuq Basin.
The initial production test result from the Carboniferous Upper & Middle Awaynat Wanin Formations are as follows:
The well, located approximately 650 km South of Tripoli and 200 km North West of Ubari city, represents the second discovery well drilled by the company in this contract area.
