Paolo Scaroni, the CEO of Italian energy company Eni, has said that there are grounds for optimism about Libya's oil production capacity even if the transition will take time.
"In Libya we currently produce 220-230,000 barrels a day, which correspond to roughly 80 percent of our maximum capacity. We are managing a difficult situation reasonably well", he told CERAweek participants.
He added that Libya remains a priority for Eni.
