Iran's PressTV reports that Benghazi have come to a standstill due to a mass strike over security concerns.
Reuters says that on Sunday, public and private sector staff, including oil workers, went on strike in the port city, protesting against worsening security and demanding the resignation of the parliament whose mandate has expired.
Oil companies, universities and schools also closed down following a call by political groups for a day of “civil disobedience.”
