Iran's PressTV reports that a café in Tripoli, which has been opened exclusively for women, has managed to draw in crowds.
The Mangou cafe, the first one of its kind in Tripoli, opened in 2012, allows women to meet socially and hold events, as well as to have lunch or coffee with their friends.
Owner Jalal al-Naqush said:
"The idea is to have a place for women, the idea is that it is not just a cafe, it is a social club. For example, we had many social meetings attended by Libyan female artists and poets who met in the cafe and held activities."
