Russia's Ambassador to Libya, Ivan Molotkov, has told the ITAR-TASS news agency that Libya does not intend to revise contracts with Russian oil companies that have concessions to develop Libyan oilfields.
The companies involved are Gazprom Neft and Tatneft.
But he added:
“The situation in Libya is similar to Iraq’s. I believe that the crisis in Libya will last for years.”
