Libya have been dropped as the host of the 2017 African Nations Cup finals.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Saturday that it was inviting new bidders for the tournament, as fighting in Libya makes its plans to host the event increasingly untenable.
As a result, plans to buid new stadiums have been thrown into doubt.
Libya was originally scheduled to host the Nations Cup in 2013 but because of their civil war it swapped with 2017 hosts South Africa.
