France, Italy, Germany, the UK and the US have condemned the ongoing violence in Libya.
They have joined the UN in calling for hostilities to stop immediately.
Forces loyal to retired general Khalifa Haftar have launched new attacks against militias in the city of Benghazi and also in the town of Kikla in the country's west. Dozens have been killed in the recent escalation.
