Libya's supreme court has invalidated the country's internationally-recognised parliament, the House of Representatives, following a legal challenge.
According to a report from BBC News, the court said the parliament was unconstitutional.
Libyan MP Abu Bkr-Bouiera said that the ruling was "baseless" and said it was "a step towards dividing the country".
