The internationally-recognised government, meeting in Beida, has stressed the need for Libya to pay its medical and health debts to Tunisia and Jordan, according to a report from Libya Herald.
The al-Thinni-led cabinet emphasised the need to at least start paying part of Libya’ outstanding debts to these countries as ‘‘a sign of good faith’’; the debts are payments for the treatment of Libya’s war injured as well as the treatment of Libyan civilians.
