French oil company Total has said that, due to the deteriorating security conditions in Libya and Yemen, production was halted in February 2015 in onshore Libya and in April 2015 in Yemen.
But in its First Quarter 2015 Results, it added that, due to the geographic diversity of the Group’s portfolio, the impact of these events on the Group’s results is limited.
The Group’s first priority, it said, is the safety of its people and the security of its installations.
