The Commander of the Libyan army loyal to the internationally-recognised government in Tobruk, Khalifa Haftar, has said that Jordan will increase military cooperation with Libya, including helping to train Libyan army forces.
Xinhua reports that Haftar, who arrived in Jordan on Friday, made his remarks after meeting with several Jordanian officials and military officers.
Jordan will also treat injured members of the Libyan army in Jordan.
Haftar also called for weapons to help in the fight against the Islamic State (IS, ISIS, ISIL) terrorist group.
