The National Oil Corporation (NOC) is reportedly trying to load crude oil stored at the eastern Ras Lanuf port, as fears grow for the security of the port.
The Wall Street Journal reports the Greek tanker Nassau Energy, owned by LL Energy SA, has been instructed to load the oil, but it is unclear if security conditions will allow the operation.
If successful, it would be the first loading from Ras Lanuf since 2014.
