Libya Herald says there are unconfirmed reports of an attack on the Sarir power station (pictured).
A suicide car bomber, suspected to be from the Islamic State group (IS, ISIS, ISIL, Daesh), was also reported to have been killed by the largely Tebu unit of Petroleum Facilities Guards (PFG) before he could cause major damage.
The station contributes 450 MW of power to the national grid.
