Libyan air carriers have reportedly resumed flights to Tunis-Carthage Airport for the first time since Tusisia banned them in December citing “security concerns”.
A communications official from the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority (OACA), told Libya Herald that tere will be six flights a day during Ramadan between Tunis and Libyan airport,s and nine a day after Ramadan, following which the number of flights could increase further.
The decision to finally lift the ban came after protracted negotiations between the Tunisian Ministry of Transport and Libyan authorities.
