Libya Herald has reported that the third delivery of banknotes from Russia, ordered by the parallel Central Bank of Libya (CBL) based in Beida, has arrived at Labraq airport.
It says that despite this delivery of LD 750 million, and previous deliveries including several hundred million dinars to Tripoli CBL from British currency printer De La Rue, ordinary Libyans are still finding it difficult to get cash.
The Libya Herald has seen the Russian notes being accepted without objection in Tripoli.
