A delegation from the German-African Business Association is visiting Malta between the 26th and 27th September 2016.
The delegation made up of German companies already established in Libya and specialising in the medical, aviation, logistics, renewable energy, water treatment and security services will be paying a courtesy call on the Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat and attend a Germany-Malta-Libya Business Encounter being held on the 27th September between 09.00 and 14 hrs at the Malta Chamber of Commerce in Valletta.
The purpose of the event is to create networking opportunities between German - Maltese and Libyan businessmen with the possibility of forming joint ventures for future business in Libya as an when the current situation returns to normal.
The delegation will be lead by the former Ambassador of Germany to Malta Klaus-Peter Brandes together with the CEO of the German-African Business Association Mr Christoph Kannengiesser.
This delegation follows the participation of a Maltese delegation made up of officials from the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Malta Enterprise and the Libyan-Maltese Chamber of Commerce at the Association's headquarters in Berlin, when presentations on such triangular co-operation were made.
The Germany-Malta-Libya Business Encounter will also be addressed by The Hon. Dr Christian Cardona, Minister for Investment, The Economy and Small Business and The Hon. Dr George Vella, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
