Libya Herald reports that a consortium of Italian companies specializing in airports have visited the remains of the destroyed Tripoli International Airport (TIA), to conduct a survey with a view to building a passenger terminal and other amenities.
They were accompanied by the chairman of the Libyan Airports Authority (LAA), and the General Manager of TIA.
