Khoms power station has been reopened, according to a report from state news agency LANA.
Two gas turbine units of 260-MW capacity each were started on Sunday and Monday.
Libya Herald reports that, in a snub to the Presidency Council, deputy chairman Ahmed Maetig was turned away from the re-opening, while Rixos plot leader Khalifa Ghwell took part in the ceremony.
Newly-appointed senior GECOL managers were also reported to be have been denied access to the event.
The plant was rehabilitated by Turkish firm Çalik Energi.
