Applicants to the Tamayoz programme will be selected based on their professional experience, educational background, as well as on their ability to demonstrable leadership potential. Tamayoz is an inclusive programme open to both genders and all interested applicants from across the country. Female applicants from the target sectors are highly encouraged.
Applicants will be selected on their merits, and participant progress will be contingent on their commitment to the course, which will be assessed according to the quality of assignments submitted, and completion rates of course materials. The highest achieving participants will be invited to attend a 2-week residential training in Tunisia in 2017.
The programme in its current pilot phase will be transferred to a local institute in Libya to manage it after completion. Also, an Alumni group will be created by the programme for all the participants who finished the programme or successfully completed the foundational and sector specific modules. This will ensure Tamayoz's sustainability and continuation in order to maximise the benefits and expand it to a larger number of Libyans in the future.
