A Maltese business delegation of 20 companies involved in the maritime sector was in Libya last week, visiting the major ports of Tripoli and Misurata, Homs and Zliten.
Organised by Malta Enter-prise, the visit was described as successful, with the delegation viewing the operating environment and meeting port authorities.
Networking sessions and one-to-one meetings were held with Libyan counterparts, with discussion revolving around business opportunitities and possible collaboration.
Malta Enterprise will organise the second of the sectoral business visits in the coming months in line with the strategy discussed with the Libyan authorities.
