Libya's defence ministry is sending some of its soldiers to train in France in diving and handling of explosives.
At a weekly news conference held on Wednesday in Tripoli, the government spokesman, Nasser Al-Mana, did not give the specific number of soldiers who will be trained in Fance.
He said, however, that the defence ministry has also decided to send 36 physicians of the Army's medical services to study abroad.
He added that the defence ministry has given financial rewards to pilots and technicians at the air force base of Benina, Benghazi, for repairing Mig fighter planes in Libya's military bases.
