A total of 35,085 Libya returnees have received Tk 50,000 each in cash under the 'workers rehabilitation project' of the World Bank.
“As per our target, all Libya returnees will get cash help. If anyone is dropped, they have been asked to communicate with the desk concerned along with valid documents,” Secretary of Expatriate Welfare Ministry Dr Zafor Ahmed Khan told BSS yesterday.
He said the government in joint collaboration with International Migrant Organisation (IMO) and World Bank was implementing the rehabilitation project.
