Some 70 Italian companies will be present in Tripoli from May 20 to 24 for the international event ''Libya Build'', which focuses on the construction sector.
The expo, a statement issued by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) reads, is only open for professional visitors. It is dedicated to the sectors of construction, architecture and engineering, electrical and mechanical systems, interior decoration and furniture, water treatment and environment, conditioning and cooling, materials and machinery, sanitary fixtures and ceramics, gardening and public green. This is the second time ICE participates in the event. In 2010, 60 Italian firms were present on a total surface area of around 600 square metres. This year the Official Italian Pavilion, set up by the ICE Agency, covers 651 square metres and hosts 71 companies in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Novara, Promos Milano, Unindustria Treviso, Centro Estero Umbria and Confindustria Marche.
Many companies wanted to be present at this year's expo. In fact, over 130 Italian companies will participate - those that are part of the ICE group and others that participate autonomously -, making Italy the country with the largest representation at Libya Build.
