Indian professors and doctors working on contract in various universities and offices of Libya, had to leave the country in the mid of their contract -term, during the period of transition with no fault of their own. Thus suffered the loss of employment and money after having secured the positions through rigorous interview procedures and having paid huge amounts of money as service charges to the recruiting agencies in home country.
Now these home- returned Indians leaving all their expensive house hold things and cars there and long-unemployed, highly educated professionals be given opportunity to go back to Libya and join the duty in their work places on humanitarian grounds to complete their contract term.
The embassy of India should negotiate with concerned Libyan authorities on this issue and protect the interests of it`s citizens by giving top priority. Rest of other dealings to do business with Libya remain secondary.
